What is now a low earth and cement block mound near a path junction was one of the battery magazines.

Site visit 14th April 1994. The magazine is still visible amongst low trees at the junction of several paths.

The magazine for the No. 2 gun lies 40m to the south west of it. Constructed in concrete the bunker is almost covered in earth with only the front face is visible. It is impossible to enter or accurately survey.
