Full description
Pearse Chope, R., 1926, Address of the President. Hartland Abbey, 73 (Article in Serial). SDV6740.
Welcombe Barton. A new chapel was built in 1508.
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1977 - 1982, SS21NW16 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV6620.
Visited 17/10/1977. House is probably 18th century. Its only peculiar features being small upper storey to the porch and a length of blank wall leading away from se corner. No identifiable remains of chapel. Other details: Photograph.
