Full description

Hut circle shown on 19th century map.
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1979, SX67NW61, SX67NW61 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV266771.
Visited on 4th September 1950. Hut 'e'. Small, double-walled circle of turf-covered stones with entrance on south-east side. Diameter 5.5 metres. Wall 1 metre wide, 0.4 metres high. Fair condition.

Visited on 2nd August 1988. The most substantial hut within the enclosure. Internal diameter 3.6 metres, being levelled into the hillside by 0.3 metres. Turf-covered walls, now spread to a thickness of 2.2 metres are 0.3 metres high with some external facing slabs. Entrance on south-east side formed by 2 transverse slabs 0.8 metres apart - apparently designed to narrow the entrance.
