Full description
Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1994, Blackdown Hills ironworking survey (Report - Survey). SDV126734.
Account of 1426-7 lists 9lbs iron rent from William Pace for one messuage and half a virgate at "La Hole". La hole probably Holy City. Information from R. Carter, M. Parmiter, P. Wood. M. Parmiter lives in Holy City; does not know of any nearby slag finds.
