Vis=1/2/1995 (ea) small fragment of slag recovered from trackway at st21060206. Owner (resident one year) has not noticed tap slag so far. Neighbour found slag fragment at smithhayes whilst fencing. Evidence of chert quarrying on hillsides at st213020 (ea).
