Summary
One of a group of hut circles in an agglomerated enclosure on Lee Moor above Spanish Lake. A stoney circle 3.0 metres in diameter. While resembling a hut circle it is possible that this feature, which contains several large blocks in its interior, is the result of stone clearance activity.

Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX56SE3 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV139161.
Enclosure and hut circles. A compound enclosure of the usual Dartmoor type. Walling of turf and heather covered stones reaching an average height of 0.5 metres. No obvious entrances.
Hut circle D. Diameter approximately 5.0 metres, fragmentary. Entrance probably to the north, opening into the enclosure.

Hut E. Conjoined plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior measures 3 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.7 metre wide wall standing up to 0.7 meters high. Attached to the southern edge of hut D.

Two sub-rectangular enclosures containing four hut circles lie on the gently sloping eastern flank of Lee Moor above Spanish Lake. SX 58526461. A stoney circle 3.0 metres in diameter. While resembling a hut circle it is possible that this feature, which contains several large blocks in its interior, is the result of stone clearance activity.
