(SX 5860 6336) A curvilinear bank up to circa 2 to 3m wide is visible under vegetation on aerial photographs of 1946, as a stony earthwork on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2002 and is identifiable as an earthwork on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013.
The bank defines an irregularly shaped enclosure up to 6.5m across, either abutting or defining part of the external north-western boundary of the enclosure MDV2425.
The visible earthwork is interpreted as a hut circle of probable Bronze Age to Iron Age date. It is one of 8 associated with the adjacent larger enclosure and is conjoined to south-west and north-east by smaller possible hut circles.
The hut circle has been transcribed as part of enclosure MDV2425.
