Vis=5/8/1994 (emafu) located c.50m to e downhill from site of cottages. Well-head built into slope. Apsidal open-fronted chamber 0.55m wide x 0.70m high x 0.80m deep, lined with mortar above water level. Flat capstones 'and flanking walls flush with slope'.

Full description

RCHM, CITING DYER, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV42825.

The water chamber has a stone kerb in front and is silted up. A stone and concrete surface extends c.1.9m from front of this. Well head is overgrown but well-preserved. Shown on 1st ed. Os 6" map and on current 1:10000 map as a spring (rchm, citing dyer).
