Close inshore at 51.10.49N, 04.41.07W, in 12-15m within a complex gully system of granite boulders. Remains lie above and below kelpline. 30-40% algal coverage. Evidence of lobster potting.
Extremely scattered fragmented metal hill plating with rivet fastening, and various metal objects from the deck structure such as winches, an anchor and anchor chain. Approx 15-30% thought to survive, but more of the hull may be buried under granite stones.
Thought to be the Dutch MV Amelstroom, 395 ton coaster, stranded 1948.
