Full description

Stead, P. M. + Matthews, A. J., 1994, Town Farm, Lydford (Worksheet). SDV233275.

Watching brief on 4th August 1994 during soil stripping and cutting of access at site adjacent to Town Farm house. Cutting of eastern access revealed a small pit, 0.22 metres deep, cut from level of natural subsoil and containing two fragments of slag.
