Wills lists polygonal s facing pillbox, of mixed construction, at sx519486 (wills).

Concrete pillbox now much overgrown, close to the entrance of a small road running up to St Werburgh's church. Defended the approach of the small valley running up from Wembury Beach, a quarter of a mile from the beach.

Site visit on 23rd March 1995. Concrete pillbox standing on rising ground at head of coombe inland from Wembury beach. Now at foot of private garden. Unable to get sufficiently close to fully investigate but appears to be in good condition and is polygonal.
