(05/09/1993) The remains of an artillery observation post are situated on the crest of the steep, east facing ridge above the East Okement River, 750m S of East Mill Tor, at SX 5994 8902. The remains, which comprise a stoney mound, measuring 8m N-S by 7.5m and 2m high, lie on the S end of a small granite outcrop. The concrete blast wall remains upright on the SE margin of the mound, indicating the position of the former observing shelter.
