Leading through fields 2 and 3 are two parallel banks probably representing the edge of a trackway leading from the road to the river.The purpose of this track is unknown as it does not lead to a natural crossing point. A track is shown here on the Ordnance Survey 1809 one inch map, leading to White Lady Waterfall and a group of buildings called Ford. Appears to post- date the field boundary walls.
