A Prehistoric handaxe from Beer is now in the Geological Museum in London. Other details: 164/ax-3 no.6.

Handaxe recovered from the Beer to Seaton Road. Layer may be correlated with upper boulder clay glaciation and upper tumbled gravel at Broome Pit. Mousterian or Clactonian.
