Newton Mill, or Lower Newton Mill. Building extant. At floor level the 4 upright supports holding the bridge-tree are in good condition. The overshot wheel is now at Docton Mill. Inside there is a pit for a pit wheel. No machinery survives. Four stones rest against a barn. They are iron banded, probably french burr. Leat still exists, but is cut off from the Torridge.
