(16/05/1988) SX 64197303 to SX 64117281. A turf-covered stoney bank on average 1.2m wide and 0.3m high in the rough grazing SW of Sherberton Farm. Its N end lies near a kink in a modern field wall which itself may overlie a similar feature. The bank runs down a steep S-facing hillside to a moorland plateau NE of Swincombe Farm where it is eventually submerged by peat.
At SX 64177294 the bank is adjoined by another, similar feature which runs S across the plateau until it too is buried by peat. These banks resemble prehistoric field boundaries though no analogeous features are visible in the immediate area.
