Full description

FLETCHER, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV10257.

Vis=1/3/1989 (rchme) this leat channel, now dry, is 1.4m wide and 0.3m deep with a 1.3m wide bank on the downhill side. It draws water from the cholake valley (sx61867309) at 356m od and follows a sinuous course around a spur to the boundary wall of tor royal farm (sx62387351) at 346m od. Here it has apparently been re-routed along hedge ditches on the n side of moorlands; its original course around the rear of the farm cannot be identified (fletcher).
