(14/08/1991) SX 64768617 to SX 64748627. A short section of bank on the W edge of Stonetor Marsh below the E flank of Langridge. This turf-built linear feature measures 1.3m wide and 0.3m high.
It serves no obvious function, although it may be the retaining bank of a tinner's leat supplying the middle reaches of the Stonetor Brook: The channel may have become obscured in the marsh. It probably commenced in the marshy saddle on the NE flank of Langridge, which was supplied with water from the North Teign River via an impressively constructed leat (SX 68 NW 72).
