Summary

A tinners cache consisting of 3 cover-stones resting on side-stones carefully set in the ground' (rchme, citing hemery). Vis=14/8/1991 (rchme) it lies on the w fringe of extensive streamworking remains flanking the w arm of the stonetor brook. Comprising a crudely built open-ended channel it measures 2.8m ne-sw by 0.65m wide and 0.55m deep. Two of the original 3 capstones remain in situ; the middle one has been pushed to one side to expose the interior (probert).

(14/08/1991) SX 64738590. A tinners cache ' consisting of three cover-stones resting on side-stones carefully set in the ground' (Hemery, 1983, 773).
It lies on the W fringe of extensive streamworking remains (Monument HOB UID 903310) flanking the west arm of the Stonetor Brook. Comprising a crudely built open-ended channel it measures 2.8m NE-SW by 0.65m wide and 0.55m deep. Two of the original three capstones remain in situ; the middle one has been pushed to one side to expose the interior.
