(17/07/1990) Twenty six slotted gate-posts on the in-bye of Teigncombe Farm. Thirteen have simple rectangular slots (type R in the accompanying tabulation), twelve have inverted L-shaped slots (type L) and one has four recesses on one edge (type E). Seven of these posts have combinations of rectangular and inverted L slots. For a further description of gateway types see Worth (1953, 361-367).
