This leat, a 130m long dry U-shaped channel at best 1.2m wide and 0.2m deep with an upcast bank 2.4m wide and 0.9m high on the downslope side, runs N from a mining adit at SX 6931 8023 to the top of a tinners' openwork at SX 6933 8037 [see SX 68 SE 146 for details].

(25/04/1990) SX 6932 8028: a short leat on the E slope of Challacombe Down.
This leat, a 130m long dry U-shaped channel at best 1.2m wide and 0.2m deep with an upcast bank 2.4m wide and 0.9m high on the downslope side, runs N from a mining adit at SX 6931 8023 to the top of a tinners' openwork at SX 6933 8037 [see SX 68 SE 146 for details].
