Full description

Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1994, Blackdown Hills ironworking survey (Report - Survey). SDV126734.

Tap slag found by Nan Pearce during fieldwalking.


Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 16, Part 1; 112, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 477 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.

A flint scatter (31 flint and 22 chert) has been collected from within Stockland Little Castle including one flint scraper and 5 chert scrapers. The site lies between the survey areas of Huntshayes and Shore Bottom. Tap slag was also found in the same area.
