Farm buildings grouped around yards to each side of the great stable (PRN 54763) and include an 18c threshing barn c.80m to E and a late 19c cartshed. There were also several buildings which appear on earlier maps and have since been demolished. These consist of:.
i) a small structure just to NE of the great stable. Present by c.1779, demolished by 1866.
ii) a small square building just to W of it. Present by 1866, demolished by 1904.
iii) a long building along the S side of stockyard no 1. Present by c.1779, demolished after 1954.
iv) an L-shaped range of buildings around the N end of the E wing of the main house. In the 1950's these included a shed abutting the N wall of the wing; its N wall (containing joist sockets) is stall visible, together with a secondary cubicle to the W. The main range contained a gateway wide enough for a wagon at its S end and may have been used as a fertiliser or manure stone (see Beacham). It was demolished in the late 1950's and the rubble used to fill in the cellar of the E wing. Other details: Figs 10,17-19,23,25-26,28;pls 6,20-6.
