Full description

Pye, A. + Westcott, K., 1993, Great Potheridge Farm, Merton. An Archaeological Presentation Survey, 22 (Report - non-specific). SDV11287.

Site of 19c building. Located within the green lane to Little Potheridge at the SW corner of Orchard Field. Built between 1841 and 1866 and demolished by 1904. Consisted of a rectangular building aligned N-S along the W side of the lane. Some of its foundations are still visible and in 1871 it was described as a thatched shed within a yard.
