Full description
Matthews, A. J. + Turton, S. D., 1994, Roadford Reservoir Project Standing Buildings Survey Higher Goodacre, 3 (Report - Assessment). SDV20370.
Stone farmhouse on a basic, almost perfectly square plan. Four rooms on ground floor and 5 on first floor. No early features detected within the house, which appeared to have been built in late 19c, with the front (E) porch and the shed at the SE corner of the house representing later additions. Now beyond repair. The roof has collapsed, and the fron and rear walls have collapsed to ground-floor level.
