A 'wreck' was marked at approximately this location on Admiralty charts of 1853 and 1887. It is possible this is one of the three vessels recorded by Larn as having been lost 'off Orcombe Point Thornborough' in 1806. Other possible identities include the Brothers (1812) and Moon (1817).
