Name:Pillow mound 210m east of Great Trowlesworthy Tor

Summary

Pillow mound forming part of Trowlesworthy Warren. Survives as a 9m by 4m by 0.8m high, flat topped, oblong shaped mound of soil and stone surrounded on four sides by the ditch from which construction material was quarried. The ditch survives as a 3m wide and 0.25m deep hollow on the south and east sides of the mound and elsewhere as a buried feature. The north and east sides of the mound are revetted with drystone walling, which may survive elsewhere as a buried feature.

(24/03/1994) Pillow mound forming part of Trowlesworthy Warren. Survives as a 9m by 4m by 0.8m high, flat topped, oblong shaped mound of soil and stone surrounded on four sides by the ditch from which construction material was quarried.
