Summary

Remains of a two-storey building, approximately 10 metres by 6 metres. Oriented north-south, it has three doors at ground level in east wall. Single window or loading door at first floor. First floor level door in south wall (at external ground level. Building is dug into slope).

Small rectangular building shown on 19th century map in the north-east corner of the field.

SX694 678. Remains of building. Shell of a two-storey building, approximately 10 metres by 6 metres. Oriented approximately north-south. Three doors at ground level in east wall. Single window or loading door at first floor. First floor level door in south wall (at external ground level. Building is dug into slope). Slit window at first floor level in north wall. Short wall with gatepost separates two modern doors on east side. North and south walls gabled. Internal joist sockets in east and west walls but timbers have fallen. Rotten remains survive on ground inside. Doors have granite lintels. Hollow way leads away from level area in front of building (see sketches - plan and elevation).

Well built and preserved bank barn containing well dressed stone lintels situated on woodland boundary recorded in 2006 walkover survey. Most probably originally belonged to Warmacombe Farm and is associated with the field boundary recorded nearby (MDV134281).
