Summary

Hut circle or structure attached to wall of western enclosures at settlement on Giant's Hill. The 2002 survey recorded a sub-rectangular structure adjoining a boundary bank previously identified as a hut circle of 4.5 metres by 1.8 metres with a sloping interior and walls up to 3.0 metres wide by 0.6 metres high

(SX 5946 6678) Hut circle attached to the inner face of agglomerate enclosure. Terraced into the hillslope. Simple plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior is oval, 4.5m by 2m and is defined by a 3m wide wall standing up to 0.7m high.

(19/03/2002) SX 5948 6679. A sub-rectangular structure adjoining a boundary bank. Measuring 4.5m east to west by 1.8m internally this feature has a sloping interior with walls up to 3.0m wide and 0.6m high. There is no ground evidence to suggest that these remains are those of a former hut circle. It appears to be constructed from material derived from a breech in the adjoining field bank and its form is reminiscent of military features in the immediate area.
