Name:Pillow mound south of the River Plym

Summary

Pillow mound forming part of Hentor Warren. Survives as a 12m by 6m by 1m high, flat topped, sub rectangular mound of soil and stone surrounded by the 1.2m wide and 0.2m deep ditch from which construction material was quarried. A 6m long, 0.8m wide and 0.1m deep gully leads north-north-west from the ditch surrounding the mound. This probably represents a vermin trap.

Pillow mound forming part of Hentor Warren. Survives as a 12m by 6m by 1m high, flat topped, sub rectangular mound of soil and stone surrounded by the 1.2m wide and 0.2m deep ditch from which construction material was quarried. A 6m long, 0.8m wide and 0.1m deep gully leads north-north-west from the ditch surrounding the mound. This probably represents a vermin trap.
