18/04/1995 (SX 5914 6534) One of two hut circles forming part of a partially enclosed settlement (see also MDV126596). They survive as banks of earth and stone surrounding a circular internal area and lie within a 72m by 35m enclosure defined on three sides by a 1m wide and 0.5m high rubble bank and on the fourth by a spread of dense natural clitter. Both huts are of the simple plan, single orthostat and earthwork walling type.
The interior of this northern hut is 3m in diameter and the surrounding 1m wide wall stands up to 0.5m high. A gap in the surrounding wall facing west may represent an original doorway. This hut is site No.102 517g in the National Trust Upper Plym inventory.
