Summary

Hut circle and rubble bank lying within an historic field. The building forms part of a hut settlement and is situated at the eastern end of a 68m long, 1.5m wide and 0.3m high rubble bank. The hut is of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. The interior is 2.5m in diameter and is defined by a 1m wide wall standing up to 0.2m high. Not noted in 2002 survey and the hut could not be plotted from the aerial photography available, although the bank is visible on the lidar data.

(SX 5930 6590) Hut circle and rubble bank lying within an historic field. Forms part of a complex multi period archaeological landscape on the north-western slope of Hen Tor overlooking the valley of the River Plym.
The building forms part of a hut settlement and is situated at the eastern end of a 68m long, 1.5m wide and 0.3m high rubble bank.
The hut is of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. The interior is 2.5m in diameter and is defined by a 1m wide wall standing up to 0.2m high.

Line of the bank shown by Gerrard on his scheduling plan is just visible on the lidar data, although the hut could not be identified.
