Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1979, SX56NE97, SX56NE97 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV148977.

Visited on 14th March 1979. Hut circle in enclosure to the north-west of Shavercombe Tor of 3 metres diameter with walls 1.3 metres wide by 0.3 metres high attached to the inner face of the enclosure.

(SX 5916 6612) Hut circle survives as a bank of earth and stone surrounding a circular internal area and forms part of a partially enclosed hut settlement. It is attached to the inner face of enclosure and is of the simple plan and earthwork walling type. Its interior is 3m in diameter and the surrounding 1.3m wide wall stands up to 0.3m high.
