Summary

Seven Admiralty boundary stones shown on early 20th century maps to the south-east of Britannia Royal Naval College. Two were moved from their original position by the 1930s, and all appear to remain in situ.

Full description

Of the seven Admiralty boundary stones, the two adjacent to Coombe Cottages were moved by the 1930s, when fields to the south-west were acquired by Britannia Royal Naval College. Those to the north of Coombe Cottages remained in their original positions and appear to be still in situ.

Seven Admiralty boundary stones Numbers 11-15 and Numbers 19-20 shown on early 20th century map to the south-east of Britannia Royal Naval College. The limits of the college are demarcated by 95 of these stones.
