Probable military workshops or stores recorded on Royal Air Force 1946 aerial photograph. Four large curved-roof huts and a number of smaller huts. Associated track and structure on north side of Golf Links Road. Area now occupied by Ridgeway Drive housing development and before this a caravan park.

A temporary Second World War military site is visible on as strutures and stored equipment or provisions on aerial photogaphs of the 1940s and 1950s. The function of the site is unknown but the quantity of stored material visible, the character, number and size of temporary structures present and presence of what might be a sunken inspection area, might support the interpretation of the site as a military depot or workshop. The temporary Nissen hut type structures remain visible on aerial photographs of 1953 and 1960. All military structures have probably been removed by 1965. The site might have been associated with Northam Radar Station, to the north-east. This area is now occupied by modern housing.
