Vis=02/07/1996(horner) possible square pillbox recorded on dcc computerised map base. This was viewed from the runway when landing. It is brick-built and sited in the nw corner of a field (horner).

A Second World War structure of a possible pillbox associated with RAF Exeter is visible on aerial photographs of 1944 onwards. The octagonal structure measures approximately 6m wide by 6m long and is located beyond the eastern extent of the runway, in association with three other structures further to the east. The structure remains extant on the 2015 Ordnance Survey MasterMap.
