Full description

1954, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV220165.

Raf harrowbeer. Group of airfield buildings recorded on raf 1946 and 1947 ap's. Appear to be airfield main technical buildings, stores, workshops and possibly some accommodation hutting. Several dispersed blast shelters for personnel also recorded. To the south, beside the airfield perimeter track at the n end of two of the runways, are two bellman hangars. Teague refers to various stores buildings being built here in 1941. Only trackways and standings are recorded in this area on the os 6" (1954) map (dob worksheet).
