Two circular earthwork pits, circa 15 metres diameter, are clearly visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and on visualisations of lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. They are interpreted as Second World War bomb craters, although it is not clear whether their intended target was Harrowbeer Airfield to the north (MDV55671) or the decoy airfield to the south (MDV58008).
