Full description

Keene, B., 1995, Flint Blade (Worksheet). SDV349473.

Flint blade found 12 to 15 inches below ground level, when digging in the vegetable garden at Lower Redgate, formerly part of the castle works. The blade is fashioned from grey flint , finely worked along edges, and has been broken at the tip.
