Summary

The earthworks of a relict catch meadow system photographed south of Muckford Farm in 1990. Parts of the system have been smoothed by ploughing but the central channel, running down from the present Muckford Farm, and a series of gutters extending on either side to east and west, are still visible on aerial photographs.

Vis=2/12/1994 (griffith) parts of the system have been smoothed by ploughing but the central channel, running down from the present muckford farm, and a series of gutters extending on either side to e and w, are still visible as in the ap. The system hs not been used in the memory of the present occupants, but this is less than twenty years (fmg).
