A well-defined, dark circular cropmark of a levelled ring ditch, circa 1m in width and 8m in diameter, is visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1989, on level ground towards the crest of a hilltop, southeast of Wottons Farm, Broadhempston. Its form and topographical setting supports the interpretation that it represents the remains of a levelled Bronze Age barrow. The cropmarks are not visible on other aerial imagery made available to the survey.
