Two structures in fields close by can be included in the Challacombe settlement description:
SX 6953 7979: Foundations of a rectangular building measuring 3.7 by 2.9 metres internally, set in an angle between field walls and consisting of a low rubble bank 1.2 metres wide and 0.45 metres high. It too was probably a small agricultural building (citing Pattison, P., 21/08/1990, Royal Commission on the Historic Monuments in England Field Investigation).
