Rapid examination of aerial photographs suggests the presence of a building (of 3 'rooms' and a corridor), possibly of Roman date, visible as a cropmark.

Young, A., 2005, Transcriptions from Winkleigh Biomass Plant National Mapping Programme (NMP) project (Cartographic). SDV321540.

The remains of a possible building are visible on aerial photos (p1). The building appears to consist of three rooms and a corridor, which is open at its east end. It is likely that this feature is associated with a Roman camp immediately to its north (cin 29193). It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
