Full description

Gould, R. D., 1844, On the Towers of the North and North-West of Devon, 85-86 (Article in Serial). SDV88315.


Council for the Care of Churches, 1996, Creacombe, St Michael & All Angels (Formerly St Mary), Devon (Exeter) (Un-published). SDV320114.

The only item (apart from the plate) to survivie from the previous church. A large plain bowl of egg-cup shape on a later base with foliage spurs at the anglse; so featureless as to be difficult to date, but probably quite early, and possibly even Saxon.
The flat oak cover with an iron cross is of 1911. Other details: PM 1757.
