Vis=27/6/1996 (robinson) site lies in level valley floor; nothing visible (dprfp).

A ditched enclosure of possible later prehistoric date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1995, on the floodplain of the RiverTeign, north of Huxbear House, Hennock. The cropmark of the ditch is circa 2 to 3m wide, defining a roughly rectilinear or slightly trapezoidal area circa 52m by 35m in size (circa 0.2ha). No entrance could be identified but the cropmark defining the south-west corner of the enclosure was not clearly defined.
