Shaft shown on the 1857 lease map & a flat rod angle bob is shown next to it on the OS (1884) map. The survey in 2002 found the shaft 6m diameter was blocked at 1.8m with rubble remnants of a building. Four finger dumps were found on top of the spoil heap. Other details: Site 226.
