Two black and white photographs of section of the flue taken in the early 1960s, when quite a lot of the structure remained.

Wheal Friendship Mine. A large 91.4 metre long flue lead from the arsenic works to the now demolished Brenton's Stack.

Flues from four calciners combined into single main flue which ran to two arsenic condensing chambers and on to Brenton's Stack. Likely to have been built in the 1870s. The length of the flue from the chambers to the base of the stack was 244 metres.

Approximately 300 metres long, flue still reasonably intact with two wire ropes reinforcing concrete roof.
