Full description

Horner, W., 1996, Auxiliary Hide at Stone Farm (Worksheet). SDV356922.

Second World War "British Resistance" auxiliary unit bunker reported at above location. Reportedly in copse to south-west of Stone Farm. Sited in an old quarry with entrance concealed by tipped rubbish.


Hannaford, N., 2015, Bideford (East the Water) Auxiliary Unit Patrol and Operational Base (Website). SDV360563.

Was sited in a old quarry on the edge of a copse to the South West of Stone Farm.
The OB was Destroyed after the war.
Size of OB unknown but it is known that the entrance was concealed by tipped rubbish.
