The site is labelled as 'Countess Wear Inn' on the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map, and 'Countess Wear Hotel' on the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. The buildings are not present on the Ordnance Survey Master Map, indicating that they had been demolished prior to 2015 and replaced with a housing development.
