Full description

Gent, T. H., 1994, Report on Timber at Umberleigh (Report - Survey). SDV78693.

Timber on north bank of River Taw at Umberleigh. Sizeable timbers exposed in bank at low water. Further timbers in river. Appear to be worked oak. The timber is spread over roughly 70m of river bank from roughly 20m below the old weir. Clearly represent structural activity.
